Between October and November 2023 in Krefeld, specifically in the Stock sector, we carried out a Horizontal Directional Drilling combined with a 180 mm reaming, achieving a total length of 1,100 metres and finishing with the installation of fibre cabling using the blow method.

The result? A modern, efficient infrastructure that is ready to meet the current and future connectivity demands of the area.

The terrain, classified between class 1 and 3, offered ideal conditions for carrying out the project using the horizontal directional drilling method, ensuring precision and maximum control, guaranteeing subsoil stability, pipeline safety and efficiency in execution times.

The combination of scoring and drilling techniques was essential to achieve a safe, continuous and uninterrupted route, reducing environmental impact and preserving the urban environment and existing infrastructure.

This method enabled the agile and reliable deployment of the network, meeting the highest standards of quality, safety and sustainability.
