At Catalana Drilling, we are expanding rapidly and want to add new talent to our team. We are part of Catalana de Perforacions, a company based in Spain with more than 55 years of experience in drilling and civil engineering, and pioneers in horizontal directional drilling.

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drilling machinery. Together with the drilling team, your main goal will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of site equipment, maximising performance while minimising downtime.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and electromechanical equipment according to established plans
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Supervising and monitoring the performance of machines on site, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
- Installing and assembling new or replacement electromechanical components or systems in line with specifications and regulations
- Documenting all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring updated and accessible records
- Complying with health and safety regulations and occupational risk prevention standards in all activities
- Proposing improvements and modifications to electrical or mechanical systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
What do we expect from you?
- A qualification in Electromechanics, Electricity, or Industrial Mechanics, ideally specialising in heavy machinery
- At least 3 years of proven experience in the electromechanical maintenance of industrial and/or heavy machinery
- Knowledge in the following areas: Electromechanics and Electricity; Mechanics, Pneumatics and Hydraulics; and the interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings
- Skills: diagnostic and problem-solving abilities; teamwork and communication skills; and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments
- Availability to travel frequently or willingness to relocate abroad
